Memphis bounced back with a great win over S. Florida this past weekend. Rice had lost three in a row before a two-overtime win against UConn this past weekend. Memphis has played a much tougher schedule and has much better statistics than Rice. The 17th ranked rushing offense of Memphis should be able to move the ball at will on the 79th ranked rush defense of Rice. Memphis has been undervalued by Vegas with a +6 against the spread average for the season. Memphis will be looking to run up the score to impress the playoff committee. Look for 52nd ranked Memphis to cover the spread in this one against 123rd ranked Rice.

Miami FL Vs SMU

Miami FL seemed non interested in the Stanford game last week but came alive in the second half scoring 35 unanswered points. SMU has a glaring weakness in its pass defense ranking 135th. Miami FL should be able to move the ball efficiently through the air with its 55th ranked passing offense. The 8th ranked rush defense and 30th ranked pass defense should be able to keep SMU in check. Miami FL has played the much more difficult schedule which will pay dividends. Look for 10th ranked Miami FL to cover the spread in this one against 41st ranked SMU.

Michigan St. Vs Minnesota

This is a game where the defenses are much better than the opposing offenses. Minnesota’s 131st ranked rush offense and 98th ranked pass offense will struggle against the 76th ranked rush defense and 72nd ranked pass defense of Michigan St. Michigan St.’s 108th ranked rush offense and 96th ranked pass offense will struggle against the 26th ranked rush defense and 49th ranked pass defense of Minnesota. Look for this to be an offensive struggle with the game going under the 44.5 over/under.

Kentucky Vs Auburn
Vegas: Over/Under 46.5
College Football Game Picker: Under
Up until last week Auburn had been involved in low scoring games for most of the season. The Arkansas game was poor defense and excellent offense by the opposing team resulting in the over. This week will revert back to the low scoring games with the defenses having the upper hand in this matchup. Auburn may be playing a new QB as well. Kentucky is a run first team that will struggle against the 7th ranked rush defense of Auburn. Kentucky’s defense matches up well against the Auburn offense. Look for this game to go under the over/under of 46.5.
