This Houston offense is a total mismatch for the Tulane defense. Houston will score early and often in this game and should be able to easily cover the spread. Houston may give up a few points thru the air, but with make up for it with an dominate offensive display. Take Houston to cover the spread.

Game 2: Texas Tech vs Kansas  (Vegas  Texas Tech -30.5)

(Game Picker  Texas Tech by 34.61)

Texas Tech should easily be able to hang 50 points on Kansas who has one of the worst defensive units in the nation. Texas Tech’s problem has been defense. In this game, the Kansas offense is really bad as well (2 QBs out)  and won’t be able to score many points on Texas Tech. Take Texas Tech to win this in a runaway and cover thee spread.

Florida St will look to run the ball against Louisville to control the tempo. This will be a hard fought game, but Florida St will end up covering the spread with the home field advantage and a healthy running back Dalvin Cook.
