The Thursday night game this week matches up UCLA vs Stanford. Stanford has been able to run at will on every team they have played with the exception of Northwestern. After the first week stumble, Stanford has been steam rolling teams with their running game. Unfortunately for UCLA, rush defense is not a Bruin strong point (94th of 128 teams). Injuries on the defensive side of the ball have forced the UCLA coaching staff to pull players off the offensive side of the ball to plug holes in the defense caused by injuries. Stanford has one of the top strength of schedule ratings in the nation (9th). Look for Stanford to be sky high with the Thursday night game and cover the spread.
