Week 3
Thursday, September 17th, 2026:
Syracuse Vs Pittsburgh
Vegas: Pittsburgh -10.5
College Football Game Picker: Pittsburgh by 20.39
Pittsburgh has started strong with wins over Miami OH and Central Florida. Syracuse lost at home this past weekend to California. This will be a spotlight game for Pittsburgh on a Thursday night at home under the lights. The difference in this game will be the offensive and defensive lines of Pittsburgh dominating the line of scrimmage. Pittsburgh should be able to run the ball efficiently. The defense of Pittsburgh should also have an advantage on the Syracuse offense. Look for Pittsburgh to cover the spread in this one at home.
Saturday, September 19th, 2026:
BYU Vs Colorado St.
Vegas: BYU -17.5
College Football Game Picker: BYU by 29.32
BYU is looking like it may give Texas Tech a run for their money in the Big 12. BYU defeated a very good Arizona team this past weekend in its first early season test. Colorado St. is 2-0 but have played a very weak schedule thus far. BYU should be able to run the ball at will against the very average Colorado St. run defense. BYU has a very strong defense that returned 8 starters. BYU held the high-flying Arizona offense to 17 points this past weekend. Look for 17th ranked BYU to cover the spread in this one against 94th ranked Colorado St.
Saturday, September 19th, 2026:
Fresno St. Vs San Jose St.
Vegas: Fresno St. -5.5
College Football Game Picker: Fresno St. by 16.72
San Jose St. has overachieved a bit so far this season on offense while only returning 2 offensive starters. Fresno St. started the season in a tough sport against USC who had already played a game. Fresno St. did rebound nicely with a 49-3 win over Sacramento St. this past weekend. Fresno St. definitely has the more talented team here and should be able to move the ball on the ground. Fresno St. also found its passing game this past weekend with two receivers surpassing the 100-yard mark in receiving yards. Look for Fresno St. to pull away in this one and cover the spread.
Saturday, September 19th, 2026:
USC Vs Rutgers
Vegas: USC -21.5
College Football Game Picker: USC by 37.48
USC has had no trouble putting points on the board averaging over 40 points a game in its first three games. Rutgers has lost its first two games to UMass and Boston College. USC has been a bit vulnerable to the pass, but Rutgers likes to keep things on the ground with its run first offense. USC should be able to score points at will in this game as the Rutgers average defense will not be able to stop them much like the UMass game. Look for USC to cover in this one.
Saturday, September 19th, 2026:
Kentucky Vs Texas A&M
Vegas: Texas A&M -16.5
College Football Game Picker: Texas A&M by 28.99
Kentucky lost the second half at home to Alabama this past weekend 32 -o. Texas A&M will have a huge advantage on both sides of the ball. The Texas A&M offense should be able to play mistake free football with 10 returning starters on offense unlike Alabama in the first half with a first year QB. Kentucky was sky high for Alabama and must adjust to the reality of its roster being brand new. Texas A&M put up 48 points on Arizona St. this past weekend and should do the same against Kentucky. Look for Texas A&M to cover the spread in this one.
Saturday, September 19th, 2026:
W. Virgina Vs Virginia
Vegas: Virginia -9.5
College Football Game Picker: Virginia by 18.07
Virginia has dominated the line of scrimmage with its powerful offensive line in both of its games. NC State was especially a dominating game in what was expected to be a much closer game. W. Virgina struggled mightily against Coastal Carolina in its only FBS matchup. W. Virginia is a run first offense that will find the going tough against the 20 ranked defensive line and 25th ranked linebackers of Virginia. Virginia should be able to run the ball at will against W. Virginia just as it did against NC State. Look for Virginia to cover the spread in this one.
