Week 2

Saturday, September 10th, 2022:

Wake Forest Vs Vanderbilt

Vegas: Wake Forest -8

College Football Game Picker: Wake Forest by 16.90

Vanderbilt has started 2-0 but have played Hawaii (worst team in D1 college football) and Elon. Thus, the line of just -8 against a much better Wake Forest team. Wake Forest with its 28th ranked offensive line, 12th ranked receivers should be able move the ball thru the air even with starting QB Sam Hartman out. The Wake Forest backup QB threw for almost 300 yards and 3 TDs last weekend. Wake Forest should be able to slow the Vandy offense with its 44th ranked defensive line and 43 ranked defensive backs. Look for Wake Forest to cover the line in this one.

Saturday, September 10th, 2022:

S. Alabama Vs C. Michigan

Vegas: C. Michigan -4.5

College Football Game Picker: C. Michigan by 9.00

C. Michigan scored 44 points against Oklahoma St. last weekend behind their surprisingly strong passing game that went for 424 yards and 4 TDs through the air. C. Michigan should be able to move the ball at will on S. Alabama’s average defense. S. Alabama does not have the offense to hang with C. Michigan. Look for C. Michigan to cover the spread at home in this one.

Saturday, September 10th, 2022:

W. Michigan Vs Ball St.

Vegas: W. Michigan -6.5

College Football Game Picker: W. Michigan by 7.61

Ball St. got boat raced by Tennessee in Week 1 losing 59-10. W. Michigan played toe to toe with Michigan St. in Week 1 and were within one score late in the game before Michigan St. took control. W. Michigan should be able to move the ball on the ground against Ball St. with its 31st ranked running backs. The Ball St. offense will be a much easier foe than Michigan St. for the W. Michigan defense that shut down Michigan St. for large segments of the game in Week 1. Look for W. Michigan to cover the spread in this one.

Saturday, September 10th, 2022:

Washington St. Vs Wisconsin

Vegas: Wisconsin -17

College Football Game Picker: Wisconsin by 25.50

Wisconsin’s defense will be the star of this game going against a very weak Washington St. offense. Wisconsin’s 6th ranked linebackers and 25th ranked defensive backs will be able to shut down any offense Washington St. tries to muster. Wisconsin’s 3rd ranked running backs and 4th ranked offensive line will be able to run at will on the very average Washington St. defense. Wisconsin will have way too much talent on the field in this one for Washington St. to hang around. Look for Wisconsin to cover the spread in this one pulling away in the second half.

Saturday, September 10th, 2022:

San Jose St. Vs Auburn

Vegas: Auburn -22.5

College Football Game Picker: Auburn by 28.06

There was no doubt starting the season that Auburn would have a strong defense. The question was who would step up at quarterback. Auburn transfer QB TJ Finley struggled throwing 2 interceptions in Week 1. Backup Auburn QB Robby Ashford came in and showed that he should have started in the first place. Ashford showed off his mobility running for 68 yards and throwing for 100 yards in limited action. San Jose St. has a decent defensive line but won’t be able to stop the Auburn running game especially with its mobile QB. San Jose St. won’t be able to move the ball on Auburn’s 9th ranked defensive line, 21st ranked linebackers. Look for Auburn to continue the upward trend and cover the spread in this one.

Saturday, September 10th, 2022:

Mississippi St. Vs Arizona

Vegas: Mississippi St. -10

College Football Game Picker: Mississippi St. by 26.22

Mississippi St’s QB Will Rogers was 38-of-49 for 450 yards and five touchdowns against Memphis in Week 1. Arizona’s defense will have no answer for Will Rogers and the Mississippi State passing game. Meanwhile, Mississippi St’s defense will be able to slow down the Arizona passing game with its 28th ranked defensive backs, 16th ranked defensive line, and 24th ranked linebackers. Look for the 13th ranked Mississippi St Bulldogs to cover the spread in this one on the road.
