(Saturday, October 30th )Michigan Vs Michigan St.

Michigan has been on a roll this year going 6-0 so far. This will be the game of the week when 4th ranked Michigan lines up against 22nd ranked Michigan St. Michigan’s 15th ranked pass defense and 22nd ranked rush defense will be able to keep Michigan St’s offense in check. Meanwhile, Michigan will be able to move the ball on the ground efficiently with its 4th ranked rush offense. Junior Michigan QB Cade McNamara will play mistake free and manage the game down the stretch. Michigan is 5-1 against the spread this year. Look for Michigan to cover the spread in this one.


(Saturday, October 30th )Louisville Vs NC State

NC State will match up well against Louisville in this one. NC State QB Devin Leary has been spectacular with 17 TDs and only 2 interceptions. Louisville has the 122nd ranked pass defense and will struggle to stop the Wolfpack’s 34th passing offense. Louisville’s run first offense will struggle to run the ball against NC State’s 13th ranked rush defense. Look for NC State to cover the spread in this one.


(Saturday, October 30th ) Iowa St. Vs W. Virginia

Iowa St. has one of the best defenses in the country ranking 4th in pass defense and 16th in rush defense. West Virginia’s offensive rankings are average, and nowhere near as impressive as the Cyclones defense. Iowa St. will have a huge mismatch with its 30th ranked pass offense versus the 113th ranked pass defense of W. Virginia. Iowa State senior quarterback Brock Purdy is a good bet to lead his team to victory this weekend against West Virginia and cover the spread.


(Saturday, October 30th )Minnesota Vs Northwestern

Northwestern has been in a tail spin while Minnesota has righted the ship after a shocking loss to Bowling Green with 3 wins in a row over Purdue, Nebraska, and Maryland. Minnesota has allowed an average of only 17 points a game in the three game stretch. Minnesota will be able to run the ball at will with its 22nd ranked rush offense led by RB Ky Thomas against the 127th ranked rush defense of Northwestern. Look for Minnesota to cover the spread in this one.

C. Florida matches up well with Temple as far as its strength and weaknesses go. C. Florida has been great on pass defense ranking 27th while struggling on rush defense ranking 96th. Temple won’t be able to take advantage of the weakness ranking 103rd in rush offense. C. Florida will have a great mismatch with its 38th ranked rush offense against the 123rd ranked rush defense of Temple. C. Florida has played a much more difficult schedule and ranks 52 overall versus the 118th ranked Temple Owls. Look for C. Florida to cover the spread in this one.


(Saturday, October 30th )Mississippi Vs Auburn

This will be one of the most fun games of the week to watch as the high flying Ole Miss offense led by Heisman contender QB Matt Corral takes on the always strong Auburn defense. The Ole Miss offense ranks second in the FBS in yards per game (541.1), while Auburn ranks 45th in yards allowed (340.4). The Rebels average 9.0 yards per pass attempt (20th in the FBS), and the Tigers allow 7.1 per pass (59th in college football). Auburn’s defense gives up 217.7 yards through the air per game (57th in the FBS). Ole Miss’s 277.9 passing yards per game is 22nd in college football. Auburn will be able to put up some points on the Ole Miss defense but won’t be able to outscore the high flying Ole Miss offense. Look for Ole Miss to continue rolling and cover the spread in this one.
