TCU will put up some points against Texas, but will not be able to hang with the high scoring offense of the Longhorns. Look for Texas to cover the spread in this one.

Nebraska has played the 12th most difficult schedule with all of its tough games on the road. The Cornhuskers will finally get a home conference game this week end against 77th ranked Northwestern (92nd ranked strength of schedule. Nebraska should be able to move the ball effectively on Northwestern’s 118th ranked rush defense and 72nd ranked pass defense. Nebraska had close games with 6th ranked Oklahoma and 17th ranked Michigan St. on the road. Look for Nebraska to cover the spread in this one at home.

Florida Atl. matches up well against rival Florida Intl. Florida Atl. has played a more difficult schedule. Florida Intl is pretty much a pass only team and will have to navigate the 1st ranked pass defense of Florida Atl. The Florida Atl. major weakness this year has been rush defense ranking 130th. Florida Intl. will not be able to take advantage of that because it has no running game ranking 116th. Florida Atl. has a veteran balanced offense that will be able to move the ball against a very poor Florida Intl. defense. Look for Florida Atl. to cover the spread in this one..

This line by Vegas really is a head scratcher. Look for Army to cover the spread in this one.

UTSA may be one of the best non power five teams this year beyond Cincinnati. UTSA has already beaten Illinois and Memphis on the road this year. UTSA has a balanced offense that should be able to move the ball at will against a below average UNLV defense. UTSA has played a much more difficult schedule and leads UNLV in every statistical category. Look for UTSA to cover the spread in this one.
(Saturday, October 2nd ) – Fresno St. Vs Hawaii
Vegas Fresno St. -10.5 College Football Game Picker Fresno St. by 17.74
Fresno St. just about beat Oregon and did defeat UCLA earlier in the season. Fresno St. will matchup well against Hawaii with its 3rd ranked pass offense going against the 78th ranked pass defense of Hawaii. Hawaii is a pass first team (28th) that will not have much of an advantage against the 47th ranked pass defense of Fresno St. This should play out much like the UCLA vs Hawaii game earlier in the season (UCLA 44 – Hawaii 10). Look for Fresno St. to cover the spread in this one.
