(Friday, November 29th ) – Toledo Vs C Michigan
(Vegas C Michigan -9 ) (Game Picker C Michigan by 10.6 )
Central Michigan matches up really well against Toledo. C Michigan has an extremely balanced offense with the 40th ranked rush offense and 39th ranked pass offense. Toledo has been horrible on defense this season ranking 114th in rush defense and 109th in pass defense. Toledo has made it’s living this year running the ball behind it’s double headed rush offense. C Michigan will be able to slow down the Toledo running game with it’s 28th ranked rush defense. Look for C Michigan to cover the spread in this one at home.
(Friday, November 29th ) – Missouri Vs Arkansas
(Vegas Missouri -11.5 ) (Game Picker Missouri by 16.68 )
This will be the 97th ranked team of Arkansas playing under an interim coach against the 40th ranked team of Missouri. Missouri has played a much tougher schedule than Arkansas and leads by a pretty good margin in every statistical category. Missouri has played well on defense, but has struggled to move the ball offensively. Missouri will be able to run the ball at will on the 125th ranked rush defense of Arkansas. Look for Missouri to cover the spread in this one.
(Friday, November 29th ) – Boise St Vs Colorado St
(Vegas Boise St -13 ) (Game Picker Boise St by 18.14 )
Boise St seems to be rounding into their early season form when they were dominating before their QB got hurt. Boise St will be able to move the ball especially on the ground with it’s 60th ranked rush offense going against the 116th ranked rush defense of Colorado St. The Colorado St Rams have been successful passing the ball but have not played a defense as good as the Boise St defense that ranks 13th in rush defense and 34th in pass defense. Look for Boise St to cover the spread in this one.
(Friday, November 29th ) – Appalachian St Vs Troy
(Vegas Appalachian St -11 ) (Game Picker Appalachian St by 16.23 )
Troy got boat raced last weekend losing by 50 points to La Lafayette. The Trojans have struggled down the stretch and will have to play a red hot Appalachian St team. Troy’s bread and butter has been it’s pass offense ranking 9th in the country. Appalachian St has the 13th ranked pass defense and will be able to shut down Troy’s passing game. Meanwhile, Troy’s 71st ranked rush defense will be no match for the 19th ranked rush offense of Appalachian St. Look for Appalachian St to cover the spread in this one.
(Saturday, November 30th ) – Tulsa Vs E Carolina
(Vegas Tulsa -5 ) (Game Picker Tulsa by 14.63 )
This is one of those head scratcher lines that comes out periodically from Vegas. Tulsa has played the 30th most difficult schedule while E Carolina has played the 107th ranked schedule. E Carolina has been horrible in everything except passing the ball. Unfortunately for the Pirates, Tulsa has the 26th best pass defense in the country. Tulsa will have a huge mismatch with it’s 29th ranked rush offense going against the 114th ranked rush defense of E Carolina. Look for Tulsa to cover the spread in this one.
(Saturday, November 30th ) – Navy Vs Houston
(Vegas Navy -7.5 ) (Game Picker Navy by 11.88 )
Navy has had a great season running the football ranking 1st in the country in rushing offense. Navy will be able to move the ball on the ground against the 68th ranked rush defense of Houston. Houston is a run first offense but will have trouble moving the ball on the ground against the 17th ranked rush defense of Navy. Look for Navy to cover the spread in this one.
(Saturday, November 30th ) – Baylor Vs Kansas
(Vegas Baylor -14 ) (Game Picker Baylor by 20.22 )
Baylor will be wanting to make a statement in this game to impress the playoff committee. Baylor’s only blemish was to Oklahoma in a come from behind win by the Sooners. This will be the 23rd ranked team in Baylor against the 94th ranked team in Kansas. The Mad Hatter has the Jayhawks playing some ball, but they will be no match for the Baylor team that is playing solid, confident ball on both sides of the football. Baylor will be able to move the ball on the ground with it’s 48th ranked rush offense against the 121st ranked Kansas rush defense. Look for Baylor to cover the spread in this one.
(Saturday, November 30th ) – Notre Dame Vs Stanford
(Vegas Notre Dame -14.5 ) (Game Picker Notre Dame by 18.25 )
Uncharacteristically, Stanford has struggled mightily running the ball this year ranking 122nd in rush offense. Stanford has relied on it’s passing game which will struggle against the 3rd ranked pass defense of Notre Dame. Notre Dame has the 43rd ranked rush offense and pass defense which is as balanced as you can get. The pass defense of Stanford ranks 116th and will not be able to stop the passing game of the Irish. Look for Notre Dame to continue it’s roll and cover the spread in this one.
