(Friday, December 20th) Buffalo Vs Charlotte

(Vegas  Buffalo -5 )      (Game Picker Buffalo by 13.22 )

Vegas throws out a head scratcher the very first game. Buffalo will have a huge mismatch with it’s 8th ranked rush offense versus the 98th ranked rush defense of Charlotte. The line has Buffalo favored by only 5 points. Buffalo has been stout on defense this year ranking 4th in rush defense and 32nd in pass defense. Buffalo should be able to slow down the 31st ranked rushing offense of Charlotte. Look for Buffalo to cover the spread in this one.

(Thursday, December 26th) Miami FL Vs La Tech

(Vegas  Miami FL -6 )      (Game Picker Miami FL by 10.68 )

Miami has played a much more difficult schedule than La Tech and will matchup well against La Tech. Miami is a passing team and will have a mismatch with it’s 49th ranked passing offense versus the 122nd ranked pass defense of La Tech. Miami has been excellent on defense ranking 15th in rush defense and 35th in pass defense. This will be the 43rd ranked Miami versus the 88th ranked La Tech as far as power rankings. Look for Miami to cover the spread in this one.

(Thursday, December 26th) Michigan St Vs Wake Forest

(Vegas  Michigan St -3.5 )      (Game Picker Michigan St by 9 )

Michigan St has played a much more difficult schedule and should be able to matchup well against Wake Forest. Michigan St will be able to move the ball thru the air with it’s 54th ranked passing offense going against the 103rd ranked pass defense of Wake Forest. Everybody knows that Michigan St plays shut down defense. Wake Forest will struggle to move the ball against the Michigan St defense. Look for Michigan St to cover the spread in this one.

(Saturday, December 28th)  Oklahoma Vs LSU

(Vegas  LSU -14 )      (Game Picker LSU by 6.17 )

Vegas has put out a sucker spread to see how many folks they can draw in. Oklahoma will be able to move the ball thru the air on LSU with it’s 21st ranked pass offense versus the 51st ranked pass defense of LSU. LSU has struggled this year against teams with mobile QBs. See the stats from the Ole Miss and Texas games. LSU QB Joe Burrows will get his yards and score points, but so will Oklahoma. Look for this to be a one score game late with Oklahoma covering the spread.

(Saturday, December 28th)  Clemson Vs Ohio St

(Vegas  Clemson -2.5 )      (Game Picker Ohio St by 5.92 )

This is another line that seems crazy as Ohio St has dominated every opponent it has faced this year (+12 against the spread average) and played a much more difficult schedule than Clemson. This will be a great defensive battle with Ohio St having the 2nd ranked rush and pass defense and Clemson having the 1st ranked pass defense and 7th ranked rush defense. Both teams have some offensive weapons, but Ohio St has proven it’s weapons can’t be stopped over and over again this season while Clemson has played very average opponents all year. Look for Ohio St to cover the spread in this one.

(Tuesday, December 31st) Kansas St Vs Navy

(Vegas  Kansas St -1 )      (Game Picker Navy by 1.92 )

Navy matches up extremely well against Kansas St. Navy’s 1st ranked rushing offense will be able to move the ball on Kansas St’s 55th ranked rush defense. Meanwhile, Kansas St is a running team and will struggle to move the ball against Navy’s 16th ranked rush defense. Navy will stack the box and Kansas St’s 106th ranked pass offense will not be able to take advantage. Look for Navy to cover the spread in this one.

(Tuesday, December 31st)  Georgia St Vs Wyoming

(Vegas  Wyoming -7 )      (Game Picker Wyoming by 11.97 )

This is another situation where one team has a glaring mismatch that seems to be overlooked by Vegas. Wyoming will have it’s 24th ranked rushing offense going against the 111th ranked rush defense of Georgia St. Georgia St is pretty much an all running team and will struggle to move the ball against the 5th ranked rush defense of Wyoming. Wyoming has played a more difficult schedule and will be able to cover the spread in this one.

(Thursday, January 2nd) Boston College Vs Cincinnati

(Vegas  Cincinnati -6 )      (Game Picker Cincinnati by 10.87 )

This will be the 30th ranked Cincinnati Bearcats going against the 64th ranked Boston College Eagles and the line is only 6 points. Cincinnati has had an excellent season and went toe to toe with a very strong Memphis team twice down the stretch. Cincinnati should be able to move the ball on the ground with it’s 34th ranked rush offense going against the 81st ranked rush defense of Boston College. Cincinnati will be able to stack the box against Boston College and the Eagles won’t be able to take advantage with their 104th ranked pass offense. Look for Cincinnati to cover the spread in this one.

(Friday, January 3rd)  Ohio Vs Nevada

(Vegas  Ohio -6.5 )      (Game Picker Ohio by 15.87 )

Vegas always seems to over value Nevada. This will be the 75th ranked Ohio going against the 119th ranked Nevada. Ohio should be able to move the ball thru the air against Nevada’s 114th ranked pass defense. Nevada will struggle with it’s pass first offense (61st) going against the 45th ranked pass defense of Ohio. Ohio has played the more difficult schedule here and will be able to cover the spread in this one.

(Monday, January 6th) Miami OH Vs La Lafayette

(Vegas  La Lafayette -14 )      (Game Picker La Lafayette by 18.37 )

La Lafayette was getting boat raced by Appalachian St last week in Boone, NC and came all the way back to within 7 points at the end. Miami OH has been a very pedestrian team on both sides of the ball with only it’s rush defense ranking inside of the top 50. La Lafayette will be able to move the ball on the ground with it’s 9th ranked rush offense going against the 82nd ranked rush defense of Miami OH. Miami OH will struggle to move the ball on La Lafayette with it’s methodical offense. Look for La Lafayette to cover the spread in this one.
