Free Weekend Picks for College Football Week 2

Alright college football fans, Week 2 is off and rolling! The College Football Game Picker was crazy on target last night by picking Western Kentucky by 3.75 points in a game where La Tech was favored by 2. In case you missed it, Western Kentucky won 41-38.

Detailed stats and information have been posted for every game this weekend in the Season Subscription area. I’m giving you three picks for the weekend that use the College Football Game Picker prediction along with the injury/suspension and weather reports to form incredibly solid picks.

Game 1:  LSU vs Miss St  (Vegas:  LSU -3.5)

(College Football Game Picker:  LSU  wins by 12.35)

LSU rolls into Starkville fresh but unproven after their game was canceled due to weather in Week 1. LSUs talent on defense combined with the beastly Leonard Fournette at RB will be the difference in this game. Miss St QB Dak Prescott will put on a cape and keep this game close early, but LSUs smash mouth offense will wear the young Miss St defense down late to cover the spread.  Take LSU to cover the spread.

Game 2:  Missouri vs Ark St  (Vegas:  Missouri -10.5)

(College Football Game Picker:  Missouri  wins by 15.36)

MIssurvsArkSt

This line is pretty low because Missouri has some injuries to key players. The Arkansas State defense struggled mightily against USC last week. Missouri will be able to cover the -10.5 spread by using a heavy dose of Maty Mauk on the ground and thru the air. Arkansas State QB Fedi Knighten may keep it close in the first half, but look for Missouri to pull away. Take Missouri to cover the spread.

Game 3: Memphis vs Kansas  (Vegas  Memphis -13)

(College Football Game Picker:  Memphis  wins by 17.68)

MemvsKan

Memphis QB dual threat Paxton Lynch had  13 TDs rushing and 22 passing last year. The Kansas defense struggled in a big way against South Dakota State last week. The Memphis defense is greatly improved this year. The Memphis offense will roll in this one and easily cover this line. Take Memphis to cover the spread.
