Free Weekend Picks for College Football Week 4

I’m giving you three picks for the weekend (including a Friday Night pick) that use the College Football Game Picker prediction along with the injury/suspension and weather reports to form incredibly solid picks. Even with a great deal of upsets, the College Football Game Picker has averaged 53% correct in picking every game this year. Click on the green images to see the detailed analysis for each game including how the offenses and defenses matchup against one another statistically.

Game 1:    Friday Night — Stanford vs Oregon St  (Vegas Stan -14)

Stanford comes into this game sky high after a big win over USC last week. Stanford QB Kevin Hogan is questionable after sustaining an ankle injury last week. Look for Hogan to play and for Stanford to cover the spread in this one.

Game 2:  Appl St vs Old Dom  (Vegas  Appl St -7.5)

Believe it or not, these are two FBS division one teams. Appalachian State has had one over the better rush offenses versus a pretty decent strength of schedule. Old Dominion, on the other hand, has one of the worst rushing defenses against a very weak strength of schedule. Look for Appalachian State to cover the spread in this one.

Game 3:   MTSU vs Illinois (Vegas Illinois -6.5)

(Game Picker  MTSU by 5.15)

Although the score didn’t show it, Middle Tennessee State matched up against Alabama pretty well. MTSU has an offense that knows how to move the ball and plays tough nose defense unlike a lot of the mid tier teams. Look for Illinois to have their hands full with MTSU covering the spread and probably winning the game.
