Troy is one of the most improved teams in the nation this year. Georgia St passes the ball about 80% of the time. Troy, however, has the (17th) best pass defense in the nation. GA State has struggled mightily on defense this year. Look for Troy to cover this spread.

Game 2: Tulsa  @  Tulane  (Vegas  Tulsa -6  )

Tulane comes into this game banged up. Normally Tulsa has trouble stopping teams and has to outscore them. However, Tulane has been horrible on offense this year (rush offense 121st and pass offense 104th). Tulsa should be able to move the ball early and often against Tulane and will cover this spread going way.

Game 3:  MTSU  @ UTSA  (Vegas MTSU -11.5  )

There is major mismatch with the MTSU pass offense (18th) against the UTSA pass defense (111th).  MTSU has had a much tougher schedule this year as well and has a senior laden team.  MTSU should be able to pass effectively and cover this spread.
