College Football Game Picker   (Houston by 25.52)

The Thursday night game this week matches up SMU vs Houston. Houston has one of the top offenses (5th best rush offense and 25th best pass offense) in the nation under new head Coach Tom Herman who’s offense led Ohio St to the national championship last year. SMU has one of the worst defenses (115 in rush defense and 121 in pass defense  out of 128 teams) in the nation statistically against very weak competition (113 strength of schedule out of 128 teams). If Houston can play some pass defense, this should be an easy cover for the Cougars. Take Houston to cover the spread and don’t look for Coach Tom Herman to have a long tenure at Houston.
