This is a game where the strengths and weaknesses of these two teams favor BYU in this matchup. BYU will have an advantage with its 17th ranked rushing offense going against the 90th ranked rush defense of Iowa St. Iowa St. is also a run first team, ranking 10th, but will have to contend with BYU’s 12th ranked rushing defense. Look for BYU to cover in this one.

Wake Forest Vs NC State
Vegas: Wake Forest -3.5
College Football Game Picker: Wake Forest by 8.75
Wake Forest has been one of the surprise teams this year and has a great coach that prepares the players every week. Wake Forest won on the road at Louisville two weeks ago and then demolished Stanford at home this past weekend. Wake Forst should have the advantage on the offensive side of the ball with its 20th ranked passing game going against the 99th ranked passing defense of NC State. NC State will try to air it out but won’t be able to establish a running game in this one. Look for Wake Forest to cover in this one.

Appalachian St. is not a great team, but Old Dominion is horrible especially on offense ranking 125th in its rushing game and 121st in its passing game. Appalachian St. has a great passing offense ranking 11th and will be able to move the ball on the 86th ranked pass defense of Old Dominion. Old Dominion won’t be able to get anything going against the 58th ranked rush defense and 80th ranked pass defense of Appalachian St. Appalachian St has a +8 against the spread average. Duke Vs Georgia Tech
Vegas: Duke -6.5
College Football Game Picker: Duke by 15.29
Georgia Tech is not a good football team having lost to Colorado and Stanford. Duke on the other hand is undefeated and has beaten Stanford in a blowout. Duke should be able to run the ball efficiently with its 11th ranked rush offense going against the 109th ranked rush defense of Georgia Tech. Duke has a better than average defense and should be able to shut down the Georgia Tech offense. Duke has been undervalued by Vegas with a +11 against the spread average. Look for Duke to cover in this one.

Oregon St. will have a huge advantage with its 1st ranked passing offense going against the 114th ranked pass defense of San Diego St. Oregon St. will stack the box to stop the run first offense of San Diego St. Oregon St. has an incredible +16 against the spread average. Look for Oregon St. to cover the spread in this one.

LSU Vs Kentucky
Vegas: LSU -8.5
College Football Game Picker: LSU by 18.41
LSU had one emotional loss at Ole Miss but has crushed everyone else they have played. Kentucky is vastly improved and has some great players at key positions. LSU is just much more talented. The defense of LSU is similar to Alabama and will be able to hold the Kentucky offense in check. LSU should be able to put up points much like everyone has against Kentucky. The difference is Kentucky won’t be able to put up points on LSU. Look for LSU to cover the spread in this one.
