Nebraska Vs Purdue
Vegas: Nebraska -9.5
College Football Game Picker: Nebraska by 17.46
Nebraska played well and let a game slip through their fingers this past weekend against Illinois that would have made them a 4-0 team. Purdue got rolled again (38-21)by a not so great Oregon St. team. Purdue has been horrible through the air ranking 13oth in pass offense. Purdue will struggle to run the ball on Nebraska with the Huskers ranking 11th in run defense. Nebraska should be able to move the ball on the ground against Purdue’s run defense that ranks 134th in the country. Nebraska’s young QB has made huge strides in the past couple of weeks. Look for 39th ranked Nebraska to cover the spread against 96th ranked Purdue.

Minnesota Vs Michigan
Vegas: Michigan -9
College Football Game Picker: Michigan by 14.52
Michigan showed some huge character winning as an underdog against USC this past weekend. This week matchup with Minnesota is a game where the strengths and weaknesses favor Michigan. Michigan’s 26th ranked pass offense should be able to move the ball through the air against the 79th ranked rush defense of Minnesota. Minnesota has a below average pass and run offense that will struggle against Michigan’s defense. Michigan has played a much more difficult schedule thus far. Look for Michigan to cover the spread in this one at home by grinding it out on the ground.

W. Michigan Vs Marshall
Vegas: Marshall -3
College Football Game Picker: Marshall by 13.24
Both of these teams have played a tough schedule so far. W. Michigan got rolled by Ohio St and Wisconsin. Marshall was able to run the ball pretty efficiently against Ohio St. this past weekend. Look for Marshall to continue to lead with the run, but can be pretty good with their QB Stone Earl that completed 16/21 with a touchdown against Ohio St. Marshall has struggled on rush defense (ranked 125th), but W. Michigan only ranks 122nd in rush offense. Look for Marshall to cover the spread in this one at home.

Stanford Vs Clemson
Vegas: Clemson -21.5
College Football Game Picker: Clemson by 24.64
Clemson has rolled up 66 points against Appalachian St and 59 against NC State in the past two weeks. Clemson will have a big mismatch with its 24th ranked pass offense going against 129th ranked pass defense of Stanford. Stanford was able to expose the inexperienced Syracuse defense this past weekend. That won’t be the case against a much more experienced Clemson defense. Clemson has played a much more difficult schedule than Stanford. Look for 10th ranked Clemson to continue rolling and cover the spread against 72nd ranked Stanford.

New Mexico Vs New Mexico St.
Vegas: New Mexico -8.5
College Football Game Picker: New Mexico by 11.30
New Mexico has been able to put up plenty of points this year, but has struggled on defense. New Mexico St. has struggled on offense ranking 129th in pass offense and 112th in rush offense. New Mexico St won’t be able to take advantage of the below average New Mexico defense. Meanwhile, the 48th ranked rush offense of New Mexico should be able to move the ball efficiently against the 128th ranked rush defense of New Mexico St. New Mexico has played the more difficult schedule and leads New Mexico St. in 3 of the 4 major statistical categories. Look for New Mexico to cover the spread in this one.

Arizona Vs Utah
Vegas: Utah -7.5
College Football Game Picker: Utah by 23.12
Utah has found a running game this year ranking 22nd and should be able to move the ball at will against the 113th ranked run defense of Arizona. Arizona ranks 5th in pass offense, but much of the passing yards came against lesser opponents with their 108th ranked strength of schedule. Utah has started the season 4-0 coming off a great road win against Oklahoma St. this past weekend. Utah QB Cam Rising has been cleared to play and would open up the Utah offense if he plays. Regardless, look for 16th ranked Utah to cover the spread against 66th ranked Arizona at home.
