This will be another big showdown in the Big Ten that Michigan needs to win to stay alive in the Big Ten East division race with Ohio St. Michigan rebounded from the heartbreaker against Michigan St. with wins over Indiana and Penn St. Michigan should have the a big upper-hand on the offensive side of the ball going against the 117th ranked pass defense of Maryland. Michigan’s 9th ranked rush offense should also be able to move the ball efficiently against the 74th ranked rush defense of Maryland. Maryland is a pass first offense, but will struggle against the 10th ranked pass defense of Michigan. Look for Michigan to cover the spread in this one.

Indiana has lost their way this year offensively ranking 107th in rush offense and 104th in pass offense. That will not bode well against the 7th ranked rush defense and 21st ranked pass defense of Minnesota. Minnesota is a bit one dimensional with a run first offense, but should be able to move the ball efficiently on the ground with its 21st ranked rush offense going against the 61st ranked rush defense of Indiana. Look for Minnesota to cover the spread in this one.

6th ranked Notre Dame is still trying to jockey for a playoff position. The Irish will need to win in impressive fashion against the undermanned Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech has been successful this year running the ball ranking 43rd but will have to deal with Notre Dame’s 33rd ranked rush defense. Notre Dame should be able to pass the ball at will with its 45th ranked pass offense going against the 125th ranked pass defense of Georgia Tech. Look for Notre Dame to cover the spread at home in this one.

Marshall matches up well against Charlotte in this Conference USA matchup. Marshall should have a huge advantage moving the ball through the air with their 14th ranked pass offense going against the 115th ranked pass defense of Charlotte. Charlotte is a pass first offense ranking 37th, but will have to contend with the 13th ranked pass defense of Marshall. Marshall has played a much more difficult schedule and ranks much higher in the polls (54th) than the 114th ranked Charlotte. Look for Marshall to cover the spread in this one.

Florida Intl. has a whopping -11 average against the spread per game this year and ranks 127th out 130 teams. N. Texas has been on a roll winning three straight including a win over a pretty decent UTEP team last week. N. Texas will have a huge advantage with its 19th ranked rush offense going against the 119th ranked rush defense of Florida Intl. Look for N. Texas to continue to roll this week and cover against the 1-9 Florida Intl team that lost to Middle Tennessee 50-10 last week.

Vegas Coastal Carolina -23.5 College Football Game Picker Coastal Carolina by 31.34
Coastal Carolina had lost their starting QB, but still put up 40 points last week in a loss to Georgia St. Texas St. will struggle to move the ball against Coastal Carolina’s normally stout defense who will regroup this week at home after struggling last week against Georgia St’s passing game. Texas St. starting QB Brady McBride has a sprained ankle and is questionable for this game. Coastal Carolina will have a huge mismatch with its 11th ranked rush offense against the 105th ranked rush defense of Texas St. Look for Coastal Carolina to cover the spread in this one.
