Week 6

(Saturday, October 10th ) –  S. Carolina Vs Vanderbilt

(Vegas  S. Carolina -12 )      (Game Picker S. Carolina by 18.99 )

Vanderbilt stayed close to Texas A&M their first game, but showed its true colors last week getting blown out by LSU. South Carolina has played two very tough opponents in Tennessee and Florida and was able to be in the game with each late. South Carolina will have more talented players at every position. Vanderbilt is not allowing any fans which may actually help as the opposing team usually packs the stadium. Look for the 34th ranked South Carolina to cover the spread against the 65th ranked Vanderbilt in this one.

(Saturday, October 10th ) –  Florida Atl. Vs Southern Miss

(Vegas  Florida Atl. -2.5 )      (Game Picker Florida Atl.  by 5.34 )

Florida Atlantic has only played one game beating Charlotte after its first two games were postponed. This gave a new coach Willie Taggart time to practice with a team that went 11-3 last year. Florida Atlantic has the 14th ranked QB and 27th ranked running backs against a struggling Southern Miss defense. Southern Miss was blown out 66-24 by its only quality opponent in Tulane. Look for Florida Atlantic to cover the spread in this one.

(Saturday, October 10th ) –  Middle Tenn. Vs Florida Intl.

(Vegas  Florida Intl.  -3.5 )      (Game Picker Florida Intl.  by 3.78 )

Middle Tennessee has struggled going 0-4 against a pretty weak schedule to start the year. Middle Tenn. is a pass first team that will struggle against the 28th ranked defensive backs squad of Florida Intl. Florida Intl is not a great team under 4th year coach Butch Davis, but will have more than enough offense to cover the spread against a struggling Middle Tenn. defense. Look for Florida Intl. to cover the spread in this one.

Saturday, October 10th ) –  Charlotte Vs N. Texas

(Vegas  Charlotte -2.5 )      (Game Picker Charlotte by 2.98 )

N. Texas has played one of the weakest schedules in the country thus far and has been blown out by SMU while losing by 10 to a very poor Southern Miss team. Charlotte has played a much more difficult schedule while holding its own against a solid Florida Atlantic team. Led by QB Chris Reynolds, Charlotte has the 4th ranked offense in Conference USA and a solid defense. Look for Charlotte to cover the spread in this one.

(Friday, October 9th ) – Louisville Vs GA Tech

(Vegas  Louisville -4 )      (Game Picker Louisville by 15.12 )

This will be the 32nd ranked team of Louisville versus the 59th ranked team of Georgia Tech with only a 4 point spread. Louisville has played a much more difficult schedule and has lost a couple of hear breakers. Georgia Tech has been blown out by UCF and Syracuse while slipping by a very poor Florida St team. Louisville should be able to move the ball thru the air against Georgia Tech just as UCF did. Louisville has a veteran defense back with some excellent linebackers. Look for Louisville to cover the spread in this one.
