Friday (October 19th) – Air Force Vs UNLV Air Force 41-35 Loss
Unfortunately Air Force took the 4th quarter off after leading this game 41-21.
(Vegas Air Force -9.5 ) (Game Picker Air Force by 12.93 )
This is where intangibles are important. UNLV will be without QB Armani Rogers and will going with a not 100% RB Lexington Thomas. These key injuries will swing the tide in this one. Air Force will match up well against UNLV’s strengths and weaknesses. UNLV is a running team but will be going up against the 17th ranked Air Force rush defense. On the other hand, Air Force will have a mismatch with it’s 16th ranked rush offense against the 114th ranked rush defense of UNLV. Air Force has also played a much more difficult schedule. Look for Air Force to cover the spread in this one.
Saturday (October 20th) – C Florida Vs E Carolina C Florida 37-10 Winner!
(Vegas C Florida -21 ) (Game Picker C Florida by 21.69 )
C Florida will want to make a statement in this game after the close call this past week with Memphis. C Florida’s pass defense (34th) will matchup well against the passing offense of E Carolina (32nd). C Florida will be able to score at will on E Carolina. E Carolina has played a much weaker schedule (113th) than C Florida. Look for C Florida to roll in this one and cover the spread.
Saturday (October 20th) – Miami OH Vs Army Army 31-30 Loss
Army was leading this game 31-17 entering the 4th quarter and had an injury to it’s QB. Tough luck.
(Vegas Army -7.5 ) (Game Picker Army by 14.10 )
Army has been rolling lately scoring 52 against San Jose St and 42 against Buffalo after the near upset over Oklahoma. Miami OH has played a much weaker schedule (97th) than Army (37th) but Army leads all statistical categories except pass defense. Look for Army to cover the spread at home in this one.
Saturday (October 20th) – Penn St Vs Indiana Penn St 33-28 Loss
(Vegas Penn St -13.5 ) (Game Picker Penn St by 17.36 )
Penn St players will get hammered in practice by Coach Franklin this week after a poor showing against Michigan St last week. Indiana will be on the receiving end of some angry lions. The (7th) ranked Penn St offense will be able to move the ball on Indiana’s (65th) ranked rush defense. Penn St’s weakness has been run defense as exposed by Ohio St and Michigan St. Indiana has only the (87th) ranked rush offense and won’t be able to move the ball thru the air against Penn St’s tough pass defense. Look for Penn St to cover the spread in this one.
