Included are 4 Premium Picks against the spread for Week 1 ( 1 Thursday Night Game, and 3 Weekend games). Also a pick against the spread for every game for Week 1 is included as well.
The team highlighted in green is the team predicted to cover the Vegas spread listed. The picks and Vegas spreads will generally be locked down Friday at 5PM to get a better gauge on the percentage correct each week. The game picker will be used in tandem with the intangibles to generate green picks each week. Weather will be added within a day or two of gameday for each game.

Thursday (August 31st) – Ohio St vs Indiana

Ohio St has the 3rd best Offensive Line and 12th best Running Backs in the nation along with a very mobile QB in JT Barrett. The Ohio St defense is loaded this year ( DL ranked 2nd, LBs ranked 11th, and DBs ranked 9th) and will make it very difficult for Indiana to move the football. Look for Ohio St to make a statement in this game and cover the spread.
Friday ( Sept. 1st ) – Washington Vs Rutgers
(Vegas Washington -27 ) (Game Picker Washington by 39.81 )
Washington is loaded on both sides of the ball and will be wanting to make a statement in this game. Washington will be able to move the ball at will on Rutgers as it has 7 returning JRs and SRs on offense including standout QB Jake Browning. Rutgers finished 126th against the run last year and 116th in points allowed. The only advantage Rutgers has is the Home Field. Look for Washington to run this one up looking for some early season respect.
Saturday (Sept. 2nd ) – Maryland Vs Texas

HC Tom Herman walks into an incredible situation at Texas with 37 of 44 from the two deep rotation returning from last year. Texas is coming off two straight top 10 recruiting classes under former HC Charlie Strong. The Texas defense will be much improved this year under DC Todd Orlando. Maryland is a one dimensional running team and will struggle to move the ball against Texas 22nd ranked DL and 16th ranked LBs. The Texas offense under HC Herman should be able to score plenty of points to cover this spread.
Temple Vs Notre Dame

Notre Dame is absolutely loaded on the offensive side of the ball with the exception of the QB position. Deshone Kizer moved on to the NFL. Sophomore QB Brandon Winbush has all the tools to step in an make an immediate impact. Temple only has four starters returning on each side of the ball. Notre Dame will be able hold the Temple Owls in check on offense and score plenty of points to cover this spread.
Appalachian St Vs Georgia

Appalachian St was able to sneak up on Tennessee in the opener last year and almost pulled a big upset. Georgia has a very strong defense ( 11th DL, 6th LBs, and 16th ranked DBs) and will be able to challenge the Appalachian St offense. The real mismatch here will be Georgia’s running game ( 2nd ranked) against the unproven defensive line and linebackers of Appalachian St. Look for the Georgia offense to be much improved and cover the spread in this one.
