The tandem of Greg Ward and Duke Catalon&nbsp;should be ready to go Thursday . Cincinnati on the other hand had to hold off a tremendous comeback against an average Purdue team on the road. Cincinnati&#8217;s QB Hayden Moore may be able to stretch the Houston pass defense, behind an experienced offensive line. But in the end, Houston will pull away with a balanced offensive attack.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><b><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Saturday<strong>&nbsp;(September 17th)<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2013<\/span> Middle Tenn St <\/b><\/span><b>vs&nbsp;<\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Bowling Green<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>(Vegas&nbsp;&nbsp; <b>Middle Tenn St<\/b> -5.5&nbsp;)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (Game Picker&nbsp; <b>Middle Tenn St<\/b> by&nbsp;21.60 )<\/p>\n<p>This is one of those Vegas lines that is a head scratcher. Middle Tenn St QB Brent Stockstill put up 399 yards passing and 3 TDs against a good Vanderbilt defense last week. There is a huge mismatch in Bowling Green&#8217;s pass defense (122 out of 128) versus the Middle Tenn St pass offense (8th out of 128). Middle Tenn St has a pretty decent pass defense and a very average rush defense. Unfortunately for Bowling Green, the rush offense for the Cardinal is only ranked 109 out of 128. On paper this should be a very easy cover for Middle Tenn St.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Vanderbilt<\/span> <\/b><b>vs&nbsp;<\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>GA Tech <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>(Vegas&nbsp;&nbsp; <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>GA Tech <\/b><\/span>-7&nbsp;)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (Game Picker <b>Vanderbilt <\/b><b><\/b>by&nbsp;1.26&nbsp;&nbsp;)<\/p>\n<p>This is another matchup where looking at the strengths and weaknesses of each team can tell you the story of the tape. Vanderbilt&#8217;s Ralph Webb had a coming out party last week running for 211 yards and two touchdowns. Nobody ever questioned Vandy&#8217;s defense (especially the run defense ) as they have some of the best linebackers in the nation. But now they have found a run offense. GA Tech is terrible passing the ball and will run the ball a good percentage of the time. This is where GA Tech will play into Vanderbilt&#8217;s hands as they will find it very difficult to run on the Commodores. I look for the Dores to win this one straight up.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #008000;\">South Florida<\/span> <\/b><b>vs&nbsp;<\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Syracuse<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>(Vegas&nbsp;&nbsp; <b>South Florida<\/b> -13.5&nbsp;)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (Game Picker&nbsp; <b>South Florida<\/b> by&nbsp;17.57&nbsp;&nbsp;)<\/p>\n<p>Make no mistake, South Florida is solid experienced team that is playing some great football. There is a serious mismatch with the South Florida offense (rushing O 11th\/128 and passing O&nbsp;13th\/128) vs the Syracuse defense (rushing D&nbsp;128th\/128 , passing D 125th\/128). South Florida also brings in a tough defense that has not given up a lot of ground at all. Syracuse&#8217;s bread and butter is its passing game, ranked 27th out of 128 in the nation. Unfortunately for the Orange, South Florida defensive backfield is the strength of it&#8217;s defense (31st out of 128).
