Clemson should be able to move the ball through the air efficiently with its 21st ranked passing offense going against the 83rd ranked pass defense of Stanford. Clemson has the number 1 ranked toughest ranked schedule but still leads Stanford in every category. NC State has been way overvalued by Vegas with a -19 against the spread average. Look for Clemson to cover the spread in this one at home.

Army will have a mismatch with its 1st ranked rushing offense going against the 108th ranked rush defense of Rice. Rice has struggled in a big way on offense with its rush offense ranking 122nd and pass offense ranking 109th. Army has the 3rd ranked rush defense and 56th ranked pass defense. The strength of schedule for these two teams are comparable. Army has been under valued by Vegas with a +10 average against the spread. Look for Army to cover the spread in this one at home.

N. Illinois has started this season with a bang after upsetting Notre Dame the second week of the season. N. Illinois should be able to move the ball on the ground with its 33rd ranked rush offense going against the 86th ranked rush defense of Buffalo. Buffalo will struggle to move the ball against the somewhat stout defense of N. Illinois (48th in rush defense and 29th in pass defense) that stymied Notre Dame. N. Illinois will be trying to make a statement in each game in hopes of making an at large bid in the 12 team playoff. Look for 59th ranked N. Illinois to cover the spread in this one at home against 110th ranked Buffalo.

Oregon St. was manhandled by a wounded dog in Oregon this past week. Purdue was beaten even worse by Notre Dame. Oregon St will be able to expose a huge mismatch with its 36th ranked rush offense going against the 134th ranked rush defense of Purdue. Purdue will struggle to move the ball on Oregon St with its 132nd ranked rush offense and 122nd ranked pass offense. Purdue has been way over valued by Vegas with a whopping -18 average against the spread. Look for Oregon St. to rebound nicely and cover the spread against a very poor Purdue football team.

Stanford Vs Syracuse
Vegas: Syracuse -8.5
College Football Game Picker: Syracuse by 13.45
Both of these teams had a week off to prepare for this game. Syracuse comes off a big win against Ga Tech in Week 2. Syracuse QB Kyle McCord (6th ranked pass offense) has been lights out and should have a field day against the 129th ranked pass defense of Stanford. Stanford will try to move the ball on the ground, but will not be able to keep up with the high flying offense of Syracuse. Syracuse has played the more difficult schedule. Look for Syracuse to cover the spread in this one at home on Friday night.
