Tulane Vs Army
Vegas: Tulane -4
College Football Game Picker: Tulane by 7.85
Army is a lot like Navy in that they are run first option teams. Tulane demolished Navy 35-0 when they played at Navy. The much stronger strength of schedule for Tulane should give them the advantage here. Tulane has been grossly undervalued by Vegas this year with a +11 against the spread average. Tulane is a much more balanced offense and should be able to put up points on Army. Tulane will stack the box against Army’s one dimensional run offense much like it did against Navy. Look for Tulane to cover the spread in this one.
Friday, December 6th, 2024:
UNLV Vs Boise St.
Vegas: Boise St. -3.5
College Football Game Picker: Boise St. by 3.51
Boise St. already beat UNLV at UNLV earlier in the season. Boise St. is the much more offensively balanced team here which will pay huge dividends as both teams will try to stack the box to shut down the others running game. The one weakness of Boise St. has been its pass defense (ranked 123rd) but UNLV won’t be able to take advantage with its 111th ranked pass offense. Boise St will be able to move the ball through the air if needed with its 70th ranked pass offense going against the 106th ranked pass defense of UNLV. Look for Boise St. to cover the spread in this one on the blue field at home.
Saturday, December 7th, 2024:
Marshall Vs Louisiana
Vegas: Louisiana -4
College Football Game Picker: Louisiana by 7.45
Marshall pulled off a miracle this past weekend in coming back to beat James Madison after trailing 17-0 at half. Louisiana is much more balanced offensively but will rely on its 32nd ranked rush offense to be highly effective against the 113th ranked rush defense of Marshall. Marshall is a one dimensional running offense that Louisiana will be able to stack the box on. Louisiana returned 15 starters this year and has played consistently good football all year. Look for Louisiana to cover the spread in this one at home.
