College Football Game Picker: Utah by 15.44
Utah is ranked behind USC preseason after winning the Pac-12 last year. This team will be carrying a serious chip on their shoulders. The revenge factor will be real after losing late to Florida last year. Florida is still somewhat rebuilding. Utah QB Cam Rising will not be available for this game. Utah QB Bryson Barnes who stepped in for Cam Rising last year and went 37-57 for 430 yards and 4 TDs against Washington St. will start. Regardless Utah’s running game should be able to move the ball at will with the 14th ranked running backs and 5th ranked offensive line. Utah’s defense will give Florida fits with the 10th ranked defensive line, 15th ranked linebackers, and 21st ranked defensive backs going against an unproven Florida QB. Look for Utah to cover the line in this one.
Friday, September 1st, 2023:
Miami OH Vs Miami FL
Vegas: Miami FL -16.5
College Football Game Picker: Miami FL by 24.57
This is the battle of Miami from Florida and Ohio. Miami FL will have some big mismatches here with Coach Mario Cristoball want to get a quick start after a poor season last year. Miami FL should be able to move the ball through the air with its 15th ranked QB and 26th ranked receivers going against a very average Miami OH defensive backfield. Miami FL is loaded on defense this year and should be able to hold the Miami OH offense in check. The heat will also bother the Ohio team. Look for Miami FL to cover the spread in this one.
Saturday, September 2nd, 2023:
S. Florida Vs W. Kentucky
Vegas: W. Kentucky -11
College Football Game Picker: W. Kentucky by 17.44
W. Kentucky will have a sneaky good offense this year with the 27th ranked QB, 17th ranked receivers, and 53 ranked offensive line. S. Florida is rebuilding and is ranked 113 out of 133 teams. S. Florida only returns 4 players on offense and will struggle early. Look for W. Kentucky to roll in this one at home.
Saturday, September 2nd, 2023:
UTSA Vs Houston
Vegas: UTSA -1.5
College Football Game Picker: UTSA by 9.68
UTSA was one of the better non power 5 teams in the country last year and returns 8 starters on both sides of the ball. UTSA will have a mismatch with its 12th ranked QB and 20th ranked receivers going against a very average Houston defensive backfield. UTSA has an experience defense returning and should be able to slow down the Houston offense. Look for UTSA to cover the spread in this one.

Texas Tech Vs Wyoming
Vegas: Texas Tech -14
College Football Game Picker: Texas Tech by 21.89
Texas Tech is getting a lot of hype in the preseason with 11 starters returning on a high-flying passing offense. The Texas Tech 20th ranked QB, 8th ranked receivers, and 35th ranked offensive line should have no problem moving the ball against the average Wyoming pass defense. Wyoming only returns 5 starters on offense and will struggle early to move the ball especially with their top two running backs out with injuries. Look for Texas Tech to cover the spread in this one.

W. Virginia Vs Penn St.

Penn St will have on of the best defenses in the country this year with the 1st ranked defensive backs, 3rd ranked defensive line, and 4th ranked linebackers. W. Virgina will struggle to move the ball at all against the powerful Penn St. defense. Penn St will be able to run the ball at will against the W. Virgina defense with the 3rd ranked running backs and 14th ranked offensive line going against a very average W. Virginia run defense. Look for Penn St. to cover the line in this one.
