La Lafayette has been super undervalued by Vegas this year with a +10 Against the Spread Average. La Lafayette has also played a much tougher schedule than Coastal Carolina and has much better statistical averages in most categories. La Lafayette will have a huge advantage with its 6 ranked rush offense against the 97th ranked rush defense of Coastal Carolina. Look for La Lafayette to cover the spread in this one.

Miami FL was an underdog against Florida St and won outright causing Florida St coach Willie Taggart to be fired. Miami seems to be on the upswing in the past few weeks. Miami will have a huge mismatch against Louisville with its 35th ranked pass offense versus the 119th ranked pass defense of Louisville. This is the 39th ranked team versus the 61st ranked team of Louisville. Look for Miami to cover the spread in this one at home.

Wake Forest has been quietly having a great season with a very potent offense. Wake Forest will have the 11th ranked pass offense going against the 120th ranked pass defense of Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech is still a couple of years away from returning to it’s former glory. Look for Wake Forest to continue rolling and cover the spread in this one with it’s tall receivers dominating.

The key to this game is strength of schedule. Minnesota has played the 77th ranked strength of schedule while Penn St has played the 7th ranked strength of schedule in the nation. Penn St is the much more talented team. The crowd will be crazy, but Penn St’s defense will be able to stop Minnesota. Meanwhile, Penn St will be able to move the ball on Minnesota with it’s efficient offense. Look for Penn St to cover the spread in this one.

Boise St is once again healthy at QB. Boise St’s strengths will play well against Wyoming. Boise St will have an advantage with it’s 39th ranked pass offense against the 123rd ranked pass defense of Wyoming. Meanwhile, Wyoming is a run first team ranking 13th in rush offense and 124th in pass offense. Boise St has the 16th ranked rush defense in the country and will be able to control the line of scrimmage by stacking the box. Look for Boise St to cover the spread in this one.
